FREE SHIPPING - The Prinsu Tacoma Cab Rack is our best selling roof rack for the double cab Tacoma. It offers a low profile, modular, adjustable, and completely bolt together roof rack for 2005-2022 Toyota Tacomas in the double cab (4 door) configuration. The rack consists of 2 laser cut side rails constructed of 3/16″ 5052 aluminum plate. These rails have 3 mounting tabs each that will allow you to bolt the rack into the 5 factory mounting holes on each side of the roof. This design allows the addition of this roof rack without drilling or modification to your vehicle. The crossbars are made from a 2″ x 1″ aluminum extrusion that has 4 T slot channels and the Prinsu exclusive “drop points.” This offers numerous solutions for tie down options, cargo security, and the addition of accessories such as tool mounts or lighting. The rack comes shipped with a black powder coat finish. All assembly hardware comes in a black zinc finish. The rack also includes a 1/8″ 5052 aluminum plate wind deflector to help with aerodynamics and prevent wind noise. Options for integrating a light bar are available.

The rack is completely modular in that you choose how your rack is configured. You can also choose the number of cross bars you assemble your rack with. The rack comes standard with 6 cross bars for cargo and 1 additional for mounting of a wind deflector, light bar or combination of the two.
Weight capacity of the rack varies based on the number of crossbars used and their configuration. We expect all consumers to use good judgement and common sense with the loads they plan to carry using these rack systems.

Product was well packaged by manufacturer, and the combination of PDF and You Tube installation instructions made assembly & mounting straight forward. Rack looks great, the only thing I would like to see is more options for t-slot hardware (nuts, bolts, brackets) to use for custom mounting solutions. Also would have liked the included strap down rings in black vs stainless. But overall, great buying experience and solid product.

Will the crossbars allow for kayak mount attachments? Also, what’s the max weight the rack holds?
Yes, most kayak, SUP, canoe, ski and other mounts from carries such as Thule, Yakima, and Rhino Rack will attach to the Prinsu rack with their clamp on mounts. Prinsu does not have official load ratings for their rack, but as an example they are made to support a roof top tent and occupants.
I have a tacoma 2021 i would like to see if this rack fit this brand new truck?

How much height does it add to the truck after mounted? It’s important I park in my garage and only have a few inches now for clearance.

Will this rack work on my 2017 Tacoma trd off road double cab? Will the sunroof still be able to open fully?
Yes, this will work with your double cab Tacoma. You will have full functionality of the sunroof and because it is modular if you want the sunroof exposed you can move the cross bar above it and have full view out.
My 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro has the Dessert Air Intake (DAI) snorkel. Will the Cab Rack work with this?
Yes, Prinsu has a model of the Cab Rack that will work with the DAI. Please let us know when ordering.
My Toyota Tacoma has a shark fin antenna mounted at the rear of the cab. Will this Prinsu Cab Rack work if I want to mount a crossbar at the very back end of the rack?
Yes the Prinsu Cab Rack is compatible with the shark fin antennas on the Tacoma. The crossbars are typically mounted horizontally at various points across the rack. The bar that mounts at the very back of the rack (behind the antenna) needs to be mounted vertically so it does not make contact with the antenna.
