The Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic 270LTE Awning requires no poles for set-up, thanks to the reinforced oversize hinge and heavy-duty rafters. It is made from 280G poly cotton rip stop material with heat sealed seams, ensuring that you won't have any leaks, no matter what size rain you're dealing with. If bad weather approaches, you can quickly deploy the four pivoting aluminum poles and use the supplied ropes to stabilize the awning. The 270-degree design offers ample protection from the elements, and optional Nomadic 270LTE Awning walls can be added for extra protection. When it's time to pack up, the awning easily folds and secures in a 1000g PVC cover.
The awning offers up to 75 square feet of shelter, supported by 4 integrated drop-down legs, 4 integrated 1"1/8" tubular heavy-duty rafters supported on a Heavy-Duty Aluminum Frame. Mounting is made simple with a universal “L” mounting bracket solution that fits various roof racks. The Nomadic 270LTE Awning comes with a 4-year warranty for customer satisfaction.

Spent a month looking for crossbars and stumbled upon this ruggedized kit. Purchased in January 2026. Shipping was free and they arrived within a few days. Installation was easy. My rails are silver so not sure yet but I may paint the rails black. I watched a few YouTube videos and one of the guys did that to match with the crossbars. I’ll wait for the nice weather before deciding. Nice looking regardless. Heavy duty. Happy with this product! PS I notice many want to install strip padding underneath the wind fairing. There is plenty of room / clearance so that was not needed in my case.
I initially liked the Alpha II RTT. However after a few uses it experienced a cracked roof. I contacted the company twice with no response. Think hard about buying a product from this company. These products are made in China, which can only compete on price. Very dissappointed in product, its cost, and the company.
