Sometimes items just don’t work for what you need. We understand this, especially in overlanding where different vehicles, mix of products and other factors contribute to challenges. Despite only working with the best brands and products, we are all human and sometime products have issues. Roof Top Overland will honor our product manufacturer warranties and return policies. Typically, an eligible product can be returned within 30 days of purchase. All returned products must be in new, resalable condition and include original packaging and all hardware and accessories.
The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer and a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price may apply. Items that were customized to ANY degree are typically not eligible for return.
Orders cancelled prior to shipping or returned will incur a processing fee of 2.9% of the total amount paid. Why do we charge this fee? Once your card is charged, we pay a processing fee to the payment provider that is not returned if an order is cancelled or returned.

After 30 days, non-warranty related returns are at the sole discretion of the manufacturer and may incur a restocking fee of up to 30% of the product value.
Additionally, Roof Top Overland will charge a processing fee of 2.9% of the purchase price and may deduct from the refund any shipping cost incurred to ship the original product. Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method and are typically processed within 7-10 business days after the package arrives at the manufacturer's facility.
Packaging & Warranty
We strongly urge you to repackage the products with care and use a reputable shipping company with tracking and insurance. Roof Top Overland and the product manufacturer cannot be held liable or responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Also, specific for Leitner products, all returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original parts included and a 20% restocking fee will be charged for returns.
