The GearPOD ROOF was born out of the culmination of continued R&D and consumer feedback from its cousin, the GearPOD XL of the ACS FORGED modular truck bed family of accessories. The GearPOD ROOF has borrowed many of the GearPOD XL’s successful traits, with the Leitner Lid Lifter, locking handles, and improved water-resistant seal. The supplied mounting brackets are truly a “Universal” in the sense that they give the user the option to install the GearPOD ROOF on their existing rack.
The GearPOD ROOF is also the first “side opening” cargo box that allows for easy access when installed on the vehicle… no more climbing on the roof of your vehicle to gain access!!
The nearly 96-quart GearPOD ROOF is easy to install, comes with all mounting hardware, and installs in minutes.
NOTE - COMPATIBILITY: This has been tested to be compatible with Prinsu, Rhino Rack, Front Runner, Sherpa, and other racks that use a t-slot design load bar.

Spent a month looking for crossbars and stumbled upon this ruggedized kit. Purchased in January 2026. Shipping was free and they arrived within a few days. Installation was easy. My rails are silver so not sure yet but I may paint the rails black. I watched a few YouTube videos and one of the guys did that to match with the crossbars. I’ll wait for the nice weather before deciding. Nice looking regardless. Heavy duty. Happy with this product! PS I notice many want to install strip padding underneath the wind fairing. There is plenty of room / clearance so that was not needed in my case.
I initially liked the Alpha II RTT. However after a few uses it experienced a cracked roof. I contacted the company twice with no response. Think hard about buying a product from this company. These products are made in China, which can only compete on price. Very dissappointed in product, its cost, and the company.
