The rocker panel is the most vulnerable area on your 6th Gen 4Runner when off-road, as well as one of the most costly to repair. Protect your investment with a pair of the best heavy duty rock sliders available.
RCI rock sliders utilize a full frame support mounting plate which serves both to protect your frame from damage, as well as provides an extremely rigid attachment for the sliders by using multiple bolt locations all across the frame. These will help protect the truck both off-road as well as in the parking lot, and are still very functional as a step if needed.

Spent a month looking for crossbars and stumbled upon this ruggedized kit. Purchased in January 2026. Shipping was free and they arrived within a few days. Installation was easy. My rails are silver so not sure yet but I may paint the rails black. I watched a few YouTube videos and one of the guys did that to match with the crossbars. I’ll wait for the nice weather before deciding. Nice looking regardless. Heavy duty. Happy with this product! PS I notice many want to install strip padding underneath the wind fairing. There is plenty of room / clearance so that was not needed in my case.
I initially liked the Alpha II RTT. However after a few uses it experienced a cracked roof. I contacted the company twice with no response. Think hard about buying a product from this company. These products are made in China, which can only compete on price. Very dissappointed in product, its cost, and the company.
