Experience a revolutionary approach to off-road recoveries with the MAXTRAX Fuse Shackle, tailored explicitly for use with the MAXTRAX Recovery System. This advanced fuse shackle stands out as the deliberate weak link, ensuring your dynamic recoveries don't result in snapped recovery straps. Directly contrasting the general-use MAXTRAX Core Shackle, the FUSE Shackle is diligently engineered with a specific Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 15,432 pounds (7,000 kg). This careful design allows it to yield under pressure before your valuable recovery points or straps incur damage – safeguarding them, especially if they have a lower MBS than your traditional soft shackle.
'- 15,432lb Minimum Breaking Strength.
- Critically, if the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM is overloaded the MAXTRAX Fuse Shackle is designed to be the weakest link, and the expected point of failure. Having a predictable failure point in the event of system overload can allow the user to strategically place their rope dampener to improve the overall safety of the recovery.
- The MAXTRAX CORE Shackle is designed to be at the CORE of two interacting MAXTRAX Products, and also functions perfectly with the MAXTRAX Winch Ring 120.

The front wind fairing arrived with a small bend where the bolts hold it to the roof rails. It took forever to bolt to my roof due to the bent metal and I'm a little worried it won't hold.
